Reasonlets
A Reasonlet is one stored procedure: the question it answered, the steps that answered it, and the record of how well it works.
Versions and lineage
Procedures improve. An agent recalls a procedure, follows it, and finds a better way: an extra check, a step that is no longer needed. Mnemosyne keeps the improved procedure as a new version of the one it came from, linked to it, so the new version can build on the old one's track record.
Scopes and subjects
Two identifiers decide whose data a Reasonlet is. The scope keeps tenants apart. The subject names the person a record is about, so that person's data can be erased.
Ranking
Recall answers one question how similar the procedure is, how often it succeeds, and how recently it ran.
Evaluation
A stored procedure is only worth recalling if it works. Evaluation is how Mnemosyne finds out. This page follows one run from the moment it is recorded to the moment it moves a ranking. The maths of that move lives on the ranking page.
